The First Baptist Church of Manchester is an American Baptist church. We are affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A. (www.ABC-USA.org), the American Baptist Churches of New York State (www.ABC-NYS.org), and the Finger Lakes Association of American Baptist Churches.
Locally we share close relationships and fellowship with the Twin Cities Council of Churches (which includes the Manchester United Methodist Church, St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church and Shortsville Presbyterian Church). Together we minister to the Manchester and Shortsville communities with annual events such as Vacation Bible School, Christmas Community Cantata, and Easter Sunrise Services.

The ministries God has given us are not necessarily directed to us by our denomination although we have a close covenant relationship with our American Baptist family. Our ministries grow out of God’s direction to us through prayer and discussion. Our association with the American Baptist denomination allows us to share in missions and ministries we could never accomplish on our own, such as sending missionaries overseas. |
